Join us on World Radio Day for a CDAC Network event: ‘Radio - A beacon of progress in today’s tech-led communication landscape’

To mark this year’s global World Radio Day, the Communicating with Disasters Affected Communities (CDAC) Network, invites you to an event in Geneva to explore radio’s vital role in disaster response efforts.

The event will comprise two sessions:

  1. i) Evidence of the link between radio and the health of disaster-affected communities in the case of Typhoon Haiyan;and,
  2. ii) Radio’s vital role in today’s situations of irregular migration and conflict.

Speakers  will include representatives from First Response Radio, ICRC, International Media Support, Internews, IOM, Hirondelle, UNHCR and others. Names of speakers and a World Radio Day article will be shared shortly - please check back here or on our website for updates.
