BBC Media Action uses media and communication to reduce poverty, improve health and support people in understanding their rights. It works in partnership with the BBC World Service and other local media and development partners to improve media in affected communities through training and other media development programming.

Access to BBC World Service platforms in English and 27 language services, with a global reach of 250 million, places BBC Media Action in an ideal position to get lifesaving information to people who need it quickly.
