Is technology tipping the balance of power in aid?

The October 2021 CDAC Annual Public Forum attracted more than 200 participants to interact with more than a dozen of the world’s greatest minds on the impact of digital communication on humanitarian accountability. Is technology tipping the balance of power in aid, we wanted to learn.

The answer, and all the other learning from the forum, has been consolidated into two complimentary reports, prepared by Jon Holden. The first, Start ups, Trust and Letting go: Technology and Power in Aidfocuses on the critical question of trust and humanitarian technology. The second, Relevance, capacity and remote localisation: Technology and Power in Aid, assesses the impact of COVID-19 on the way we work with technology, and the potential impact that has had on those we serve.

Thanks to all those who contributed to the 2021 forum – we look forward to inviting you all back in 2022!
