Syma Jamil
Projects Coordinator
Syma Jamil is a senior humanitarian manager with over 20 years of experience working in various conflict and natural disaster settings across Africa, Asia and the Middle East, predominately with Oxfam, the Norwegian Refugee Council and the Danish Refugee Council. Before joining CDAC as a Project Coordinator, she was the Country Director for DRC in Lebanon. She has been a strong advocate of the importance of community engagement and accountability and transferring power to people of concern. She also has an active interest in inclusion and diversity. Syma holds a BA (Hons) degree in Communication and Media, an MA in European Politics and is currently studying for an MBA in Glasgow.
