Samia Qumri

Based in Jordan, Samia Qumri is dedicated to developing emergency relief responses to man-made crises. Trained in applying innovative approaches and having studied migration governance, human rights and economic inclusion, she brings a deep understanding of the global humanitarian–development nexus. Samia has served as the Adolescent and Youth Development Officer with UNICEF in Jordan, focusing on child issues. With more than a decade of academic experience, she has also held key roles with United Nations agencies such as UNICEF, UNHCR and UNIDO. Her expertise includes budget management and gender equality programming and advocacy.
